U Boat Badge.

Early tombak example, rare badge to find in this format being a horizontal pin in the position of Imperial U Boat awards. nice badge but the award has been polished and lost some detail on the eagles chest, all the fire guilding on the front has been polished off some remaining on the reverse, only one maker attributed to this type being, Wilhelm Deumer, see Sacha Webbers book, volume 2 page 138.
